today, we had biology. Miss lee seem so fierce today D: The way she replies to my questions are like questioning me if i had learnt my chemistry concepts properly. Its so intimidating. For a while I felt like I'm breathing irregularly and my heart pumping faster. Works of the adrenaline - hypothalamus.
I'm so gonna grasp my concepts well and make sure I get the right answers. BET CHA.
I am the only student from my class that went for the IBN open house. Luckily 04 peeps like jiaying, janani, caroline and leonard(?) were going too. =)
IBN's infrastructure is definitely awesome. I gaped at the way the buildings are being built, with the bends, curves, sharp edges, double helical bridges. Its so artistic! It looks like im transported into some place in England. (Because in my imaginary, england is a place where campuses have a really nice big field, apple trees, glass panels, transparent buildings, sunny mornings, beautiful sunshine, nice artworks all over... ) If I work there in future, i'l be inspired by something everyday.
so, we missed lunch in school and so i shared lunch with jiaying when its 1/2 and hour till the introductory talk. janani and leonard bought not-so-filling eclairs but in the end, the three of them still shared a plate of spaghetti :p. can move around with an empty stomach right? and i shared U-mian with jia ying.
during the intorductory talk, the lecturer who claimed to be the first time talking to a massive audience turned out to be rather nervous from his body language :>. His talk was quite ok at the start, but till the middle it got rather dry and lengthy so I had to talk to my partner to stay awake.
We were put in group 6. I met a new friend, Joel from NUS high. she said her sister is in 406 and in canoeing. :]
we went around to visit the labs and the presentation made by the lecturers/researchers/phDs.
Key words to what we saw: 1) colonies flourescence gene specific action days reducing 2)mRNA and miRNA 3) pancreas islets gene specific 4) phospholipids - hydrophilic/phobic tails proteins fats 5) Uninteresting talk about nanotechnology 6) Kidneys 7) Contact lens (guy Kevin had the most entertaining presentation of all ive been to) 8) colour coding, running of the samples, molecular diagnostics! differentiation (I remember it because he asked me!) (guy daniel is an engaging presenter too. )
everything under their slides hadthe ' -confidential-' wordings. looking at it makes me feel so worthy to look at a confidential information. XD
and then I camwhored with jiaying and janani when we were about to head back to school.
It was .... fun! =)

What I do is to lie on a bench outside where the sky is all to me. I'm not willing to share my sky with any non-living buildings nor construction sites. Neither am I willing to go near any noise source.
Use your palms and cover the corners of your eyes and watch the white shadows in the sky.
Use you fingers and trace these little angles.
Your eyes gleam at the sight of it.
I wish I could paint a picture as beautiful as it.
And Clouds make you Fantasize.

Felt Enlightened
Today we have to report back to the boarding school ! OH MAN
I love my sister I love my fater and I love my mother and I love my grandfather (but I don't really miss his cooking. :X!) and I love Twitchy.
I would definitely miss all of them.
Yesterday when I went to my grandfather's house for dinner, everything was still as per normal. (I was expecting to see something special, but oh well!)Its the SAME routine and everything.
Then my sister just got her 2008 Year Book yesterday. Isn't it a little backward against time? Its already more than halfway into the new year already. I saw a couple of my pictures with my friends :D
AND EVEN ONE of my shooting one XD and Dexdex's picture is beside mine. He claims he knew it, but he didn't tell me. -.- I wonder how long ago it was.
Then I showed my grandfather one of my pictures. Guess what he said I'll translate it for you!
" Eh, this picture looks really nice in the book! Even though you don't look very nice in person, you look nice in pictures! " : Which he meant that I am photogenic.
Whoa, when I heard the comment, I was like *diao*
Then I told my sister that I had a friend who told me luckily his picture in the IC is not nice, do you know why? Because if it is not nice, people would definitely say that you look better in person!
Haha, so I was laughing with my sister at my grandfather's comment. " He said I look nicer only in pictures! Evil manz! " XD

And I really felt enlightened by Mr Heah's lecture yesterday. I learnt a lot from this lecture. (Luckily I ponned SnT? HAHAHA)
We talked about Integrity yesterday. He told us a story on the 8 people. They were the pioneer batch. And because of them, we are where we are right here. Because of perseverance and believe. Because of their future generations. And goals take time to fulfill, you may not see it in your term, but you may see it happening it years from when you started. Hence, from 8 people, NJSC grown into a 40 plus people club that constitutes of the people.
I finally said what I have bottled inside over the past few days, about me being a leader. I keep fighting with the doubts I had about myself inside my head. So what I have learnt yesterday: Integrity - sticking on what you hold close to you. Being consistent with yourself. Being consistent with what you follow. Values - Hold a better position rather than authority. Count on values. Be confident and make that decision. Lead the crowd. Don't let the crowd lead you. Character - Being a firm person. Not letting opinions from others stray you away from your direction. Stick closely to my values.
I really want to stick to my direction of my RIP grave. Be Consistent, Girl!
I remembered Mr Heah saying something that goes like this: "Be grateful that you have known your weaknesses at this age of 14. Then you would have an advantage of developing your skills as you grow older." "I really hope that one day you have to stand alone and make the decision. That is when the crucial part arrives, and you will find whether you are consistent with yourself."
For this, I'm quite grateful for my seniors giving me the opportunity to be in Exco. Thank you! For: The people.

Self reflection.
I find myself being weird too.
I think I don't really trust anybody.
I just feel okay with everyone but
I would not tell them more about myself.
Am I a self-seeker? Because lately, I've been questioning myself. Being doubtful and everything. Because I find myself. Because I realise myself. Because I have to finally get to know the me I don't really know this year.
Yet, wanting to be a free soul.
I think in terms of friendship,I really need improvement to be a good friend. Because I think I'm being a taker and not a giver. Maybe because I don't understand them?
Learn to understand them then.
I really need to change my attitude. This cannot be prolonged. Help yourself.

A little interesting about school
I have this urge to create a new blog name (because I find that I've grown quite tired of this current blog) But, I'm too lazy to go to each of my friends link and tell them to relink.
Because, I personally dislike relinking. Super irritating.
Today was a fairly good day. Not because I saw 5 red cars in a row! HAHA
There was a morning shower before I went to school. When I was making my way to school, it wasn't that heavy. But until I saw my other classmates later in class, their socks were soaked and some of their uniforms were drenched. Lucky or not!
Today my drawing of cards improved too :) because Yanhui gave me inspirations! :P I feel happy staying at the range in the morning :)
Andy recommended me a book titled " Five People Heaven ". and I also want to read the 13.3/4 Adrian mole diary story. I like diaries :)
(oh, and this reminds me of asking Xiurong if she can lend me the book!)
Today when we had biology classes, Ms Lee was pissed at our classroom because there was a fermenting smell of something (for example, a rotting dead rat) and made us open all the windows. After lessons ended, all of us realised what that was. It was Zanyang's Prawns. He needed it for his SPIRE project, but it seemed that he have bought it since weeks ago. And now, it is rotting in the Fairprice plastic bag, placed at the ledge of the window. And when Huiling was complaining of her allergy to seafood and the other classmates were complaining of the putrid stench it gave off, Zanyang finally took it outside and placed the evil-smelling plastic bag by the corridor. As he walked past the length of the classroom, I could smell the effluvium of the rotting prawns.
To describe it, I think it smells like moldy, damp socks that you have worn and perspired thoroughly on it. And Marie and Jasmine then took turns spraying their deodorant across the classroom.
WHOA!
the unbearable smell was gone, but not for long!
As the weather was too nice today, I felt too cosy and sleepy in math lesson. I felt like sleeping, until laughter broke out in the class. It seemed like some curious boy from another class went out and opened the plastic bag, probably shocked to realise the pong escaping out of the bag and directly into his face!
We got back our biology test papers today at the Lecture Hall 2, some hours earlier. Donovan didn't get his paper (Since he could skip interims!), so he fell asleep. The way he slept was really funny! He placed his palm on his head, and his elbow on the table, not leaning nor lying against anything.
So.... His head kept going down then up, down then up, down then up like some kind of bu dao wong he is funny because he kept at it for until we go through the 3rd question of section B. (which is quite long). I was distracted at first because I cannot concentrated properly with his head going up and down, then amused as he was sleeping like that. Kind of cute.
So... I tapped him with my script and asked him "why dont you sleep properly la!" and he had this blur kind of expression. So, he lay his head on the table.

BOARDING with Amazing Race
HELLO! (PICTURES INCLUDED TOO yaya~ )
My first week of boarding was not bad in fact. I sorta enjoy it too!
I think the food is reasonable. (but a little BRACKISH)
But we don't really have an entertainment thing for us. Except our our LAPPIES, so... So I sneaked to the rooms of my other friends beside and below me. Since we weren't allowed to go to other people's rooms.
Jasmine is rooming on the room on my left, Erina and I are rooming together and Nisha and Marie are rooming on the room on my right. We all stay on the Fifth Floor. =D
Going to their room is rather entertaining since they always crack silly jokes.
I also went to my other classmates' rooms on the third floor. They could see the view of the terrace houses and hear the sound of barking dogs. Krittika was telling me that there was once the dog was barking, Glenda and YiJin barked at it back.
Imagining it, I found it really hilarious! Because its like talking to a dog!
On Thursday night, I went over to Sam's room, with Krittika and Huiling inside doing SPIRE. And it was late and we were bored so we played MARI KITA. Huiling was in charge of pulling the blind up and Sam Krit and I was standing erect and taking turns singing the anthem one syllable at a time. And we burst into raucous laughter
Ha, and I earned a packed of marshmallows from Erina, since she forgotten to sleep in our room XD
We got back a couple of our interim papers. Chinese paper one, my main essay was rather D: I thought it was ok, but I guess the teacher found it very cliche. BUT I THOUGHT OF IT BEING VERY REALISTIC.
I got a passing mark because she deducted 5 marks for errors. D:
I think I'm gonna contact Ms Xu and tell her about my math grades. ):)
I hope I will get the results I've been wanting to get. I wish my life wasn't so hectic. (WHY AM I DOING THIS POST THEN! )
We are learning Earthquakes for geography and chem now :)

My IH group, and we were doing something about politics and politicians. That is a White House btw! Ruizhi is holding the flag of his origins, Zan Yang beside him, Lantu with the short hair and Yi Jin beside me. =] The reflection pond. I bet they didn't want to add fishes in there. =(
Anyway, its one of the nicer features you get to see in the boarding school.
AMAZING RACE (Ytd)
:D Yesterday I with my parents participated in the Amazing Race organized by the PAACT or whatever it is, Parents Support Group.
We were part of the White Team. It was quite fun! I didn't imagine that I would enjoy myself so much from it :D
Cheryl was our team leader and I didn't bother remembering the names of the adults. Other than that, our team consisted of Me, Mervyn and XinPei.
The only way of travelling was by public transport and Do You HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT BMW IS?
Bus Mrt Walk - BMW. what a nice way to phrase it!
Digressing, I didn't expect that I could hit it off quite well with Mervyn. Both of us aspire to be doctors in future. XD It was really great meeting someone like him. P.S. He is very tall.
Oh, and I learnt about the structure of H2C2O6 !
BACK to the topic, im like the finance manager since I recorded $ . hehe.
we started at Dhoby Ghaut went to Chinatown's Majestic place and ate a plate of chicken rice. The uncle was so traditional or Si Ban or what can you say? He couldn't dance for us. But he ain't shy.
Then we went to some temple in Little india to serve tea and pour teh tarik! The uncle was so accomodating :D GOODGOOD.
Then, we had walked a long long distance in the sweltering heat to find some mee rebus ingredients and sing a song for the auntie. But She's really nice!
I got a bindi on my forehead. and we got a bindi on all of our forehead. (Hey, isn't that Steve Irwin's daughter! haha.) Then we came across a couple of stores selling sari that didn't allow us to put it on. =( until we walked for a really long distance to some shop called Ha????? Sari. John and his wife put it on, we took a group pic and chionged to our next destination.

Spotted many cute dogs. But didn't really have the kind of affection. (I WANT A DOG LIKE BELLA ELLA ELLA ELLA A A A WHEN I GROW UP!)
There was one black dog called Luna if I remeber it properly. Seem so uninterested in humans and want to escape whenever i stand near the exit.
When im opening the door, it would poke its nose in the gap between my legs and try to force itself out. I guess it must have been really really bored inside. Still, I pushed it in anyway.
Then we went to see a pet shop later, there was a dog similar to Bella! only that it looks skinnier :\ but it costs $800.
and another one that looks really sad, really really sad. It had buck teeth and there was like a bit of muscle or lacrimal caruncle sticking out of the eye. It looked like tears. Sad tears. The dog looked as though it was abused before. I shall give it a name Sadie, since it is Sad.
I bought a Durian Omelette from emicakes its really wholesome, and fattening XD but life's enjoyment for me is food.
OH, my sister bought for me Cinnamon melts from MACS YUMMY =D
