fee fi fo fum. i smell the smell of Maggi Noodles ! feel like eating now. :(
I woke up very early, at 7am today for my EXTRA dental appt, due to the poking appliances on the lower jaw. whenever i chew, the back of my cheeks would rub against the sharp edge and caused a painful sore. and finally its cut away ! freedom of chewing :D big chews, big chews.
then i also took a bus to school from outram. i was so scared i took the wrong bus as it was a route i've never gone on before, so throughout the whole journey i kept checking on the busstops but, their names doesnt match the ones i've photographed at the busstop. so i was quite puzzled by it. but wenying did it ! :D
when i saw the side gate locked i was like.. omg! cos i had to walk along the long long long way to the other gate. LUCKY i met this guy from another JC who also wanted to enter the campus to watch the touch rugby match, but couldn't. then he approached me asking me how to get in, and i told him that he had to travel by the long way up.
Him: Oh my god ! U mean you're gonna walk up ? I: yeah. Him: OMG, i must take a taxi ! *flags* I: laughs and decides to walk on. Him: You want me to get you a lift? I: *hesitates*, okay:D
and thus, i got up to school in 3minutes? hitched a free ride and didnt sweat a bit. COOL ! Then he told me if the match is finished, he's gonna cry out loud. and i think i overheard him asking his friend if it was over and he screamed! xD funny guy.
training was slightly better and i met a few more seniors. xinhang, xiurong, daniel, leonard, audrey. ;]
and something special about today was that my sister and i went to jog around buangkok medical park mental hospital. the environment was nicer there. there were many dorms/blocks for the many kinds of mental people. some, from the kind of fencing around the block, you can understand the dangerous and the harmless kind of psychotic patients staying inside.
in the distant, screams/shouts can be heard. seem kinda scary if you imagine whats going on in there.. maybe that mental girl is brandishing her fork at any one that comes near her? acting like a monkey? hmmm.... Also, at one block, there were wooden boards placed at the steel fencing like to prevent the patients from looking outside.
I feel pity towards them as they are restricted. and from the gaps, i see the blank look on one's face as he walked. another is squatting down and staring at the floor tiles. there's one who is also staring at them. all three are elderly people. i really wonder whats in their minds, what are their daily activities, how do they communicate and how did they even get landed in the IMH, in such sorry state !
